At Ella's rental house:-

Ella, with her half-hearted welcome, made Aran enter the house, cursing silently in her mind—though she never cursed, and when she did, it meant she wanted someone to disappear which means....

[A/n:-Poor Aran😅]

Ella: “This is your room. And I guess you know cooking, so—”

Aran: “I don’t.”

Ella: (rolling her eyes) “You can order then.”

Aran nodded and headed inside to change into comfy clothes.

After he left for the guest room, Ella punched the air silently, screaming internally.

Ella: “Ahh, I don’t curse, but I swear I’m feeling very badly to do it! A boy at my house… was Mom serious when she suggested this?!”

Before she could finish, the doorbell rang. Ella froze.

Ella: “Ahhh… now don’t tell me he brought his friends or something! I’m not allowing anyone else here at all!”

Fuming, she stomped to open the door—and froze.

Aera: “Hey, babe!”

Ella: (mentally facepalming) Wow, now what will I say to her about the living human inside…

Aera: “I thought we could do a night out.”

Ella: “Noo.”

Aera: “Huh?”(eyebrows wiggling)

Ella: “I mean… not today. Let’s do some other day.”

Aera: “Sure. But you’re all fine?”

Ella: “I am alright.”(nervous smile)

Aera enter inside anyways!!

Ella followed her..

Aera plopped onto the couch while Ella again hesitated before sitting. Suddenly, a voice called:

Aran: “Hey, Ella, give me the keys to unlock the cupboard.”

Aera’s eyes widened. She turned to Ella with a questioning look.

(Before Aera can run her bunny mind Ella spoke):-

Ella: “He’s my mother’s friend’s son. He’s moving into his flat in a few days; until then, he’s staying here. Mother planned it. I have nothing to do with her—now, spare me.” (She said it all in one breath.)

Ella: (turning to Aran) “It’s below the pillow.” (her voice pitched high)

Aran: “Alright!” (He looked at Ella, then Aera, and went inside.)

{Meanwhile Poor baby Aera was jungshooked.}

Ella look at Aera the statue & poked her finger at Aera, Boom Aera fall flat facing the celling onto the couch.

Ella: “Aey… what happened?”

Aera: (lying there) “My bestie has a handsome boy at her house! Omo, finally god heard my prayer!”

She suddenly sat up, startling Ella.

Aera: “GUrll, you are going to live the drama life now… and I’m going to help!” (squealing)

Ella: (flicked her head) “Enough, come out of your dreamland!”

Aera: (caressing her head where Ella flicked) “Yeh yeh, you gotta enjoy, huh.”

Ella: “Stop it, Aera.”

Aera:- Duh! Not everyone has THE drama life fr!!! Im already getting that CDRAMA flashbacks...(She hold Ella's hand while saying it excited)

(Ella just Shook her head ):- God help me!!

Aera: “So, let’s do a night out some other day, hmm?” (blinked cutely)

Ella nodded just as Aran emerged, freshly bathed and in new clothes. (AERA eyes spark )

Aran: “I’m ordering pizza if you want some—”

Ella: “No, it’s okay. You can order for yourself only.”

Aran: (Looking at Aera) “You? I guess her friend? Do you want one?”

Aera: “Oh hi! I’m Aera.” (shook his hand) “And yes, I love pizza. Free food is irresistible!” (Ella groaned mentally)

Aera: “Heyy, btw, can I ask something?”

Ella: (facepalming) Of course, Aera being Aera…(in her mind)

Aran: “Uh, yes?”

Aera: “Do you have a girlfriend?”

Both Ella and Aran choked on air.

Aera: “Heyy, what’s wrong? You both okay?” (She handed water to Aran and patted Ella’s back.)

Aran: cough cough ... No, I’m not committed to anyone.”

Aera: (smirking)“Good.”

Aran: “What?”(confused)

Aera: “I mean… yes, I see.”

Aran: “Pizza will be delivered in 15 minutes.”

Aera: “Okay.”

Ella: (whispering) “You gotta keep quiet, Aera. Why did you ask him about a girlfriend?!”

Aera: “Just for fun.”

[Ella: (sighs) Done with her bff.]

Aera: “So, what do you do? Profession?”

Aran: “I work as a game developer. Tech stuff.”

Aera: “Woah, cool! And… age?”

Aran: “24.”

Aera: (gasp a little)“God, you look like a teenager.”

Aran: (smiles) “Is that so?”

Aera: “Yeah, seriously.”

Aran: “And what about you guys?”

Aera: “We’re in our 2nd year, Humanities. Big dreams, y’know!”

Aran: “Good to know.”

Meanwhile 🤣 Ella just wanted to disappear into the couch. She was mentally screaming at her bold bestie.

Then she stood abruptly, hitting her knee on the table.

Aera: “Babe, you okay?”(she also hissed and touched Ella's knee which she hitted just now)

Ella: (Jerked up and hold Aera's hands)“Gurl, we NEED TO TALK! NOW!”

Both girls disappeared into Ella’s room while Aran chuckled to himself: These girls are crazy and annoying… but she’s cute. Nvm. He returned to scrolling his phone.

[Inside Ella's room]

Ella: “Stop making it embarrassing, Aera.”

Aera: “And you stop being awkward.”

Ella: “He must be judging so hard.”

Aera: “He seems good though—”

Ella: “Yeah, I know already.” (rolled eyes)

Aera: (wiggles brows) “When did you start caring what others think, ahann, babee?”

Ella: “Seriously?”

Aera: (suddenly makes the most serious face) “Very much.”✋🏻

Ella: “If I hadn’t stopped you, I bet you’d already ask about the marriage certificate!” (sarcastic)

Aera: (eyes sparkling) “Woahh, good idea though!”

Aera scooted toward the living room.

Ella: “Aera, wait—” (panicked)

Too late. She was gone.

Ella: Omgg, this girl, tf do I do with her?!(She followed)

Aera: “Hey, pizza came?”

Aran: “Yeah, just now.”

Aera started eating. Aran handed a box to Ella.

Aran: “I ordered for you too. No excuses.”

Ella: “No need, though.”(she looks at Aera) But thanks ...

Aran: (smiles)

Aera in her totally shipper era already imagined Ella and Aran exchanging rings instead of pizza. She chuckled.🤣

{Then again out of nowhere}

Aera: “So… when are you planning to marry?”

{Ella almost choked again}

Aran: (chuckled) “Not soon. Still focused on myself.”

Aera: “I see.” (takes a bite of pizza)

Aran: “And your future plans?”

Aera: “Journalists, yk The honest adventures one!! & Ella wants to be a true news reporter" (proud)

Aran: “Wow.”( he wanted to ask her age but stopped himself cuz he remembered what his mother once said....:-"Never ask a Lady her age")

(But his thoughts broke when Aera spoke)

Aera: “Yes, & yeah I’m 18 and Ella is 19.”

Aran: “I see.”(he smiled internally)

Meanwhile Ella ate her pizza, internally cursing her fate.

Ella (thoughts): I love being alone…but God gave me the most extroverted bestie, and suddenly another human pops up at my house—with Mom’s permission, cherry on top…

(Ella was Blabbering in her mind but oblivious to the fact that both Aera and Aran were looking at her... Aran Looking at Ella being confused and ask Aera )

Aran:- (in whisper) Is your friend ok?

Aera :-(gave a Nervous laugh and whisper back) Yeah yeah ofc It's pretty normal dw hehe

(she knows her bff must be cursing Aran sm😅)

(Aran nodded and continue eating while still chatting with Aera and trying to exchange few words with Ella)

Timeskip

(Aera went back home)

At the same night, Aran went to his room, and Ella was busy with notes.

Aran'phone died so he charged it and went out of his room and the exact moment Ella came out of her room for water.

They saw each other.

Ella (thoughts): Oh god, why did I even come out?(Groans internally) {Peak introvert}

Aran: “Hey.”

Ella: (glare) bye

(Went to kitchen)

Aran: “Ouch, that was rude.” (steps behind her)

Aran: “Umm… Ella?”

Ella: (signature glare)

Aran: “Why aren’t you asleep yet?”(he tries to start a conversation)

Ella: “My wish.” (fills water and ignores him )

Aran:- (in his thoughts) How come This cold princess be Bff of Aera?..

(When he was in his thoughts Ella moved towards her room)

Aran:(broke out from his trance) “Hey, wait!”

Aran: “I know this is troubling, but trust me… it's just our moms. If uncomfortable, I could stay at a hotel.”(he spoke out of generosity)

Ella (whisper): Yeah, so Mom can get another taunt to give me.

Aran: “Im sorry What did you say?” (He gave a confuse innocent smile)

Ella: (looked at him and sigh)“I’m fine. Just don’t bother me.”

Aran: “OkYeh.”

(Ella stopped again and looked at Aran and said)

Ella: “Also, don’t get too close to my Aera . And don’t get offended by her either—she’s just a straightforward future reporter. Kind, bold… innocent at heart.”

Aran: “Uh… okay, I guess!”

( In his thoughts:- Shouldn't she also say abt herself...)

Ella:- And Abt me

(Aran eyes spark)

Ella:- Again Don't put your nose in my business.. and..

(she started to take step towards Aran making him step back)

Ella:- Don't even dare to tell anything about me to my mom even if the house is on fire or I die...

(Aran gulped with her intimated aura).

(Ella caged him between her and the fridge and spoke again)

Ella:- Got it? (Raised brows)

(Aran nodded feeling helpless )

Ella: (nods and goes in)

(After she went inside Aran releases his breath which he also don't know he was holding)

Aran:-Uff (he puts his hand on his chest) what was that!!!It was first time any girl came that close to me... (He shakes his head to break the trance )

Aran: “Good night, cold princess.” (chuckles, goes to sleep)

And also I have decided our FLs stream will be Humanities only but their aims are different (Journalism) cuz I find it unique cuz I haven't read any Book on this profession... But again I wanna clear it out... Showing Their profession journey is not in my list now... I just wanna focus on their chaotic life...
