The starting of another normal day in everyone's busy life...

Today the weather was cloudy, and we see someone walking on the street with earphones tangled around her neck and holding her backpack lazily.

She looked totally like one of those unpaid university students going towards college.

And then, suddenly, she saw a cute puppy there.

The puppy was giggling and wiggling its tail, seeing someone.

The girl stopped in front of the puppy, squatted down to his level, and patted his head.

Girl:- “Life is tough for everyone, buddy.”

The puppy nodded his head like he was also agreeing with her.

That girl took out a packet of cookies from her backpack and laid it in front of the puppy to eat.

The puppy started eating it happily.

Then She stood up and decided to ignored it and walked away.

She thought not to waste her time on it and continued her march towards the college.

Girl:- i already have alot in my plates so... (Sees that puppy again) See ya buddy...

(She moved forward for her college)

Just then, on her way, she saw the poster of the same puppy and its owner’s number.

She looked at that poster for a good second and pulled out her phone. She called the number to tell about the puppy.

The phone rang, and someone picked up.

??:- “Hello.” (It sounded like an old lady’s voice.)

Girl:- “Hello, Miss XYZ. The puppy in the poster — I saw it on my way in XYZ Street, so go and take it from there.” (She spoke in her cold tone.)

She heard the old lady gasp emotionally.

Old lady:- “Thank you so much, dear! My puppy is my life! I can give you whatever you wan—”

Girl:- Ok thanks.

Before the old lady could continue, the girl cut the call and blocked the number.

She did her work by helping — and that’s enough kindness for today.

She now entered her college.

The noisy, populated land of living bees who can talk and buzz at the same time.

The girl rolled her eyes and continued walking towards her class.

Just then, a loud cheerful voice called her from behind—

??:- “ELLA!!”

(Ella turned around, already knowing who it was.)

That was Aera Ackerman,

her one and only best friend in the entire world.

The living sunshine.

Ella stopped and waited for Aera to reach her with her rabbit run.

Aera:- “Hey, babe!” (She hugged Ella while panting a little from the marathon-type run she just did.)

(Ella gave her a light pat.)

Aera pulled out from the hug and started talking with her in her usual cheerful voice, walking while tangling her arm with Ella’s.

(Ella gave her a bombastic side-eye, thinking how Aera could always be this cheerful — like, where does she get that energy from, fr?)

Then both went inside while Aera was chatting, and Ella just took out her earphones and plugged them into her ears to stop the outside noise.

(Aera’s jaw dropped, and she sighed dramatically.)

Aera:- “I’m talking with you in my melodious voice and you’re hearing music, hah!!”

(Ella looked at her and signed that she couldn’t hear anything.)

(Then, with a knowing sigh, Aera took one of the earphones from Ella’s ear to hear what she was listening to.)

Aera:- “Oye, it’s still with you~~ I’ll listen too.”

Ella:- “Listen from your phone.” (She spoke in her poker face.)

Aera:- “But I love like this.” (She giggled.)

(Ella rolled her eyes, knowing Aera’s clinginess very well.)

Both of them just kept walking with different thoughts in their minds —

Aera already thinking about how to make her cold friend back into her sunshine friend…

Ella and Aera were now seated at their desk.

That’s when the teacher came and started taking attendance.

Both Ella and Aera started taking out their books from their bags.

Just then, Aera whisper-yelled:

Aera:- “Ahhh shoot! I forgot my history book again!!!” (She did her dramatic fake cry.)

Just then Ella gave her a knowing look and slid her book to the centre so both of them could share it.

Aera smiled at that.

Time skip:

After the teacher asked the students some random questions, the class got over.

Suddenly, every student ran to the playground because of some chaos there.

(Ella, as usual, ignored it. But our curious bunny spoke.)

Aera:- “Heyy, what’s up with everyone!!! Should we follow them too?”

Then, when she looked at Ella, Aera’s face fell — because Ella again put her earpods on and was busy with her notes...

But if Aera made up her mind, she’d do it anyway.

So in the next scene,

we see Aera somehow make Ella come out of the classroom.

(God knows how), then both of them sit on the ground.

Ella was still busy with her music and notes, so Aera removed Ella’s earpods herself to start conversing with her.

Aera:- “Ella, did you see there are a few students transferred to our section?”

Ella:- “No. I. Don’t.” (She said with her poker face and was writing her notes like a robot.)

(Aera still tried to make her mood better and spoke.)

Aera:- “See over there... there’s this girl, Lia, and the one sitting with earphones on just like you — that’s Luka.”

(Ella looked in the direction Aera pointed out and spoke carelessly.)

Ella:- “So?Aera First of all, why did you bring me here when I was busy doing my notes!!! You know it’s more important than this all.”

Aera:- “Ahhh gurlyy pop, I know, I know! But we only live once... so you need to enjoy this college life too.”

Ella:- “Not everyone has that privilege to do it though.” (She whispered to herself, but Aera heard it.)

Aera:- “C’mon, let’s go there and see what chaos is going on. It looks like again the bad-boy group chaos...”

Ella:- “You go. I don’t wanna go.” (She whined, but Aera took her anyway.)

(Ella gave a look like that child whose parents forced her to eat bitter medicine.)

Aera:- “These jerks are never gonna stop...” (She whispered to Ella.)

(Ella still didn’t care at all about this nonsense.)

Ella:- “Done with your little show? Now can we go back to class?”

Aera:- “Babe, wait, we need to do something to stop them!”

Ella:- (showed her palm) “Don’t even think about it-...”

But well, ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ too late — Aera had already lunged toward the group, held one bully boy’s collar, pushed him to the ground, and then helped the newbie get up.

Aera:- “Don’t you guys have any shame!! Bullying the innocents!”

Just then, the bully group head, Aiden, came forward to her and said:

Aiden:- (smirking) “You, baby girl, don’t you know never to mess with me in this college?”

(He came a little closer to Aera and spoke.)

Aiden:- “So tell me, how dare you put your nose in my business???”

And then he raised his hand to hold Aera, but just then someone else held his hand — and then BOOM!!

He was pulled back so harshly that he fell on his back right in front of his group.

(Aera was surprised, and then she smiled... because it was Ella, her bestie, who always had her back!!!)

Ella:- “If your one finger would have touched her, you mf, you wouldn’t have your hand after that.”

(Everyone started whispering in shock, surprise, disbelief, and admiration for the two girls.)

And then Ella signed Aera and that newbie to follow her and walked away.

(Aera was all smiley, knowing her bestie loves her as much as she loves her too.)

Now they both entered the cafeteria, did their lunch, and went to their regular college duties.

(Students’ whispers could be heard about today’s chaos, but none of the two girls cared.)

Departure time —

As Ella and Aera were walking through the corridor, Aera was blabbering, to which Ella responded by nodding or humming.

They took a cab afterward.

Aera’s place came first, so she went off to her home after bidding Ella goodbye.

Ella stomped out of the car, reaching her house after paying the cab driver.

She entered her home — empty.

Basically, she had this apartment of rent; her family lived away from her. She was here to pursue her studies, and became a good lawyer-Her dream..

After changing into comfy clothes, she sat down to work on her laptop.

That’s when she heard the doorbell ring...

With an irritated groan, she got up to check who it was.

When she opened the door, there was a tall, handsome guy standing with his Boxy smile— not that Ella cared. So she gave him an irritated killer look and asked:

Ella:- “Yeah?”

Guy:- “Ella, right?” (The guy showed his nervous boxy smile.)

Ella:- (raised her eyebrow) “Yeah... who are you?”

Guy:- “Didn’t aunty call you yet?” (He said with a straight face, scratching his neck.)

Ella:- (confused) “What are you talking about?”

(She zoned out. Just then, her phone rang, but she didn’t notice until that guy snapped his fingers in front of her to make her realize.)

She checked — it was her mom.

She picked up the phone.

Ella’s Mom:- “WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG TO PICK UP?!”

Ella:- “Mom, hello.” (She said in her cold tone.)

Mom:- “Ah, yeah, hello. So I called you to tell you that my friend’s son is going to stay with you for some days, as he is going to live in the flat beside yours — as I suggested. So until his flat gets settled properly, for few days he is gonna stay at your flat.”

(Her mom spoke all of it like it was just as normal as breathing — not like a "Human being , A Grown up Boy I meant Man" was about to stay at Ella’s house and Ella had no idea till now.)

(Ella was jungshook.)

Ella:- “Wow, and you decide to tell me now—”

(Ding! The phone got disconnected before she could even finish. Her mom said the guy’s name and hung up.)

Ella looked at that guy with her famous glare that could kill.

Guy:- (The guy gave a nervous smile and said) “Ah yeah... hi, I’m Aran.”
